DCMS chose this eagerly awaited report launch as their first move into digital publications. The dedicated site would act as a blueprint for future reports. However, the report was data-rich, and featured a number of graphics, videos and volumes of data. The challenge was to present this in a clear, engaging and logical way.
dxw built a WordPress site specifically for the report. We worked closely with the design agency tasked with producing the look and feel and report infographics, providing feedback and technical input on the design.
Once we had created wireframes, we collaborated with the DCMS team and with the agency to refine them further. A customised layout allowed for the inclusion of infographics and data and ensured a fully responsive design, which allowed users to shift easily between sections of the report, and enjoy the same great experience on any device.
