The Importance of the Network

UKGovcamp has just celebrated it’s 10th birthday when over 200 people gathered at the National Audit Office.

For those not familiar, it’s an unconference where a fabulous network of people with digital in common and a passion for making government work better, come together to identify and discuss the issues we need to battle.

dxw is committed to helping the Govcamp network thrive and are pleased to share our time and products in anyway that’s useful. We’ve been attending and supporting for many years and this year we were delighted to be a Platinum sponsor, covering the post-event drinks, hosting the website on our product Govsite, raising sponsorship money and helping with the finance administration for the event.

The dxw team includes a mix of ex-Civil Servants, government contractors and people who have worked in other companies that serve the public sector. We are very much part of the network that GovCamp represents. As we have grown, our new team members have taken on a variety of different roles at dxw sharing their experience of working in the public sector. Equally we have seen ex-dxw’ers blossom in government roles and this sharing of skills and experience is solidifying the work we are all doing to improve things.

The health of the network is extremely important to us, not only in our business aims but also in our work towards better public services.
