We’re hiring an Independent Trustee
Could you add value to dxw as a Trustee?
In 2021, dxw became employee owned. This means that as a company, we have the independence to maintain our values and evolve our culture, as we grow. We incorporated our mission – to create public services that improve lives – into our deeds. Committing ourselves to running dxw in the interests of the people who use the services we build, as well as our staff.
When he sold the company to us, our Founder set out his personal vision for our future in a letter of wishes. This guides how we do things at dxw.
As a fairly young employee owned business, we’re still learning and developing the way we operate so we can realise the full potential of our employee owned status. We’ve reached the point where it’s time for us to bring in some external expertise to help us on this journey.
So we’re advertising for an independent trustee to join our Trust Board. A leader with first-hand experience of working with Employee Owned Trusts either as an independent trustee or as a board member. Who, alongside the other Trustees, can build credibility with the employee owners (our staff), setting out long-term expectations for the business, and making sure the Company Board is delivering on our mission.
