My career so far has been a trajectory that I would never have imagined when I got my first computer back in the Christmas of 1987.

We worked alongside the council to understand the best tools and techniques for them and how to move from discovery into alpha.

We started working with Mind and helped make their community platform, Side by Side, live. I’ve reflected on dxw’s first development partnership with a charity.

As I’m approaching nearly 1 year at dxw, now seems like a good time to reflect on my experience so far and some of the things I’ve learned.

From our perspective as a digital agency, there doesn’t seem to be anything in this paper that signals a big change.

Despite having good reasons for changing careers, it wasn’t an easy decision to make. But for me, spoiler alert, it all worked out well in the end.
