Introducing Robbie
I’m Robbie, a new PHP developer at dxw. Previously I spent two years as Head of Technology for a small London-based business card startup. Before that I was the primary developer at the charity Film Education where we created usable, accessible websites and services aimed at students, parents and teachers.
I’m an advocate for the open source community, contributing to and maintaining several interesting projects. I enjoy writing clean testable code, recently mostly using Laravel framework. I look forward to bringing those principles over to WordPress development.
I recently read an interesting article summarising the Harvard Study of Adult Development, which found that two of the more notable contributing factors to leading a happy and healthy life are increasing social bonds and doing work for the greater good.
